About

Hi! I’m Clementine, a knitter, spinner and general fiber enthousiast. I currently live in a tiny cosy home in western France, with an enourmous amount of wool and yarn, a few hundred books, and a constantly purring cat.

I’ve been dabbling in all sorts of crafts since I was a child, and I’ve been through many creative endeavours growing up. Nearly ten years ago, I picked up some yarn and a pair of needles, and never put them down ever since! Since knitting was not enough, I have also taken up spinning, both with a spindle and a spinning wheel. I also enjoy dyeing yarn, preferably with plants I gather from my walks in the woods and the fields.

I have a very deep affection for nature and wild places, that inspire me and feed my creativity. I feel like making something with my own hands is a way to better appreciate the world around us and thank nature for what it gives. I also love stories and tales, for the little spark of magic they bring into the everyday life!

I love working with simple shapes and mindless yet interesting textures, and love the idea that knitting is both a creative process and a way to end up with something soft and cosy. My knitting patterns are nearly always inspired by the nature and the tales that surround me, and I try to make them as accessible as possible to less experienced knitters – just because anyone can create something pretty!

I share my knitting and fibre adventures on instagram as @mrslobelia. You can find my patterns on Payhip and Ravelry, and you can write to me at littlewoolyhome@laposte.net.

I am thrilled to welcome you to this cosy little space, and grateful that you chose to spend some time here! I hope you enjoy what I share, please feel free to contact me so we can have a chat about knitting and creativity!
