Here Down In The Valley

This pattern takes its inspiration from the Hobbit Bilbo’s first arrival in Rivendell. These socks depict the beautiful harmony between the elven architecture of Elrond’s house and the nature that blooms all around. They are intended to capture within each and every stitch that magical feeling of eternal spring and of natural, simple beauty.

This pattern features very simple (and addictive!) textures using slipped stitches. It uses a cuff-down construction and a slipped-stitch heel (for both prettiness and sturdiness!).
